Founded 2010 as a separate campus designation within the single CWRU CASAA application, located near the Texas Medical Center with rotations at Texas Children's, Texas Heart Institute, and Baylor Scott & White. Entering cohorts dropped sharply after the Austin campus opened (from 34 down to 14-19), so the seat figure is volatile, and the 2025 first-attempt pass rate (11 of 17) sat well below the program's historical average.
