CASAA Application Timeline (2026–27 Cycle)

All accredited CAA programs use the centralized CASAA application portal. The 2026–27 CASAA cycle opened on March 10, 2026 and closes on February 26, 2027. However, individual universities set their own application deadlines and cohort start dates (ranging across January, May, June, August, September). Use this page to plan backward from your target programs' deadlines.
Why Applying Early Matters
Almost all CAA programs operate on rolling admissions, filling interview spots and extending acceptances throughout the cycle. Waiting until the final deadline significantly reduces your chances of securing an interview. In addition, processing buffers take time:
- Transcript delivery: Official transcripts can take up to 5 business days to appear in CASAA after your university sends them.
- CASAA verification: Verifying your coursework and calculating your official GPAs takes up to 10 business days after all materials arrive.
- Bottom line: Submit your application at least 3 to 4 weeks before any program deadline you care about.

Interviews, Decisions & Seat Deposits
- Interviews: Most interviews take place between August and February. Earlier verified applications receive earlier interview invites.
- Decisions: Under rolling review, programs usually extend admission offers within 2 to 4 weeks following your interview.
- Seat Deposits: Be prepared to pay non-refundable seat deposits ($1,000–$1,500) within 1 to 2 weeks of acceptance to hold your position in the class.
