A new program: the inaugural class entered August 2024 and CAAHEP granted initial accreditation in January 2025, so no outcomes are published yet. UTHealth publishes no tuition figure (the program page defers to the Bursar's fee schedules); a third-party tracker lists roughly $108,000 resident and $191,000 non-resident for the full program, and the program itself estimates $20,000+ extra for clinical-rotation travel in years 2-3. Admissions run on rolling review with interviews October through February and no posted deadline. Notable rules: a minimum B in every prerequisite, 3.0 cumulative and science GPA, US citizens and permanent residents only, a $1,000 non-refundable seat deposit, no outside work during the program, and no transfers. 100 credits, 2,500 clinical hours, 650 cases.
