Notes
Announced June 2025: expansion of the Bluefield/VCOM 28-month MHSA to the VCOM-Virginia campus (2265 Kraft Drive, Blacksburg), first class 'expected 2027' — an institutional expectation, not an enrollment fact. Would be Virginia's first AA program following the March 2025 law making VA the 23rd CAA jurisdiction. No CAAHEP directory entry and no CASAA listing for Blacksburg; the MHSA's 2026-27 CASAA cycle (opens 2026-07-01, closes 2026-10-31) covers only Auburn and Carolinas. Seats, start month, and tuition unpublished. Prerequisites shown are the program-wide MHSA Prerequisite Reference list shared by the Auburn and Carolinas campuses (re-verified Aug 2026); Blacksburg has not posted campus-specific variations and has not opened applications. VCOM's MHSA page claims a 100% historical AA job-placement rate, but that reflects the Auburn campus, not Blacksburg.
