Yes — CAAs are licensed in Ohio.
Ohio is one of the oldest CAA licensure states: the State Medical Board of Ohio has licensed AAs under ORC Chapter 4760 since 2000. Practice is restricted to hospitals and ambulatory surgical facilities under the direct, immediate-presence supervision of an anesthesiologist.
