CAA Guide

Can CAAs practice in Wyoming?

Not authorized

No — CAAs cannot currently practice in Wyoming.

Wyoming has no CAA licensure statute and no recognized delegation pathway; a 2025 licensure bill (SF0112) passed the Senate but died in a House committee, so CAAs cannot currently practice in the state.

Legal authority
None — no statute or delegation pathway

Notes

SF0112 (2025) would have created AA licensure under the Board of Medicine with 1:4 supervision; it passed the Senate 29-2 (2/3/2025) but died in the House Labor Committee at the 3/3/2025 cutoff. No AA bill was found in the 2026 Budget Session (adjourned). An earlier attempt (SF0104, 2021) also failed. WyAAA confirms CAAs cannot yet work in Wyoming, corroborating no delegation pathway.
